John Gomes is an illustrator and comic artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, who has his BFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He has been drawing for as long as he can remember and grew up obsessively recreating his favorite comic characters (mainly X-men) and cartoons (Dino-Riders and Johnny Quest). His work has been published in comics and mobile gaming and has been featured in the Academy of Art’s juried Spring Show of 2012, 2013, and 2014.
When not working on projects John enjoys catching up on his favorite soccer teams, attempting to learn bass, and reading up on the latest comic story lines.
